McCain’s First Wife - FYI

John McCain has been married twice.In 1965 McCain married the former swimsuit model Carol Shepp and adopted her two children. After Carol was disfigured in an automobile accident, John and Carol divorced in 1980. McCain blames the collapse of his first marriage on “my own selfishness and immaturity” and has called it “my greatest moral failing.”

Less than one month after divorcing Carol in 1980, he married the former Cindy Lou Hensley.
